Ernakulam / Cochin
People of Trivandrum rejoice. Cochin is as boring and useless as Trivandrum and it is in no ways better than it. That is only if you are all alone and walking in the hot sun with nothing to do. With the advice of the great Subu, the writer went in search of the famous jetty of meneka. It does not exist. What he did see was the swan boat of the trip. And also the ships and boats in the lake/kayal/backwater. MG Road is as exciting to an average CETian as a six-stroke engine is to an electronics engineer. It has nothin more than a lot of gold shops. Though you also have a SUBWAY and also the ChicKing where the writer spent Rs120 on a burger!!!!! What Cochin lacks is ATMs and roadside sharjah shops. So if in any case you come to Cochin make sure you have two things: Cash and a Boy/Girl friend. Becuse if you do have these two things, you can have bout 3 times more fun than you can in TVM. Otherwise you will end up lyk the writer, in a cyber cafe, writing bout your misery.

kinda moda place, ain't it?? gold shops everywhere..what do they think? dude u didnt say nething abt 'friendly' mosquitoes or 'comfy' roads..
and abt the jetty of menaka..subu sent u on a wild goose chase..the JoM is actually with me..(ssshhh...dont tell subu zat i'm gonna gift it to him on his b'day)
whatever you all comment..im not gonna comment cos i know cochin is not anywer near delhi or ahmedabad..but what matters for me is whether i like cochin or not and not whether you like!!!i never knew there was something like jetty of menaka!!maybe i ve to ask people about it...and i neednt get anyone's certificate showing cochin is better than tvm!!it is a fact!i dont deny roads are bad and mosquitoes are there..
