Democracy is where for the 51% majority, the 49% are sacrificed.

What the problem with democracy, according to me, is that nobody seems to actually understand it. Everywhere in the newspaper and the media we find people bashing the politicians of our country. "The govt. doesn't do this, the govt. doesn't do that, the govt. if full of criminals, etc, etc." Why is it that it never occurs to anyone that we the people are the ones who vote for these so called criminals.
THE GOVERNMENT SUCKS BECAUSE WE, THE PEOPLE, SUCK.
Keeping the govt. in good shape and free from corruption is our responsibility. Instead of blaming our beloved MP's and MLA's whom we voted into power we should blame ourselves for voting for them in the first place. Now think

dude..in the first place, the blasted fellows who wrote the indian constitution just wanted to make it the "longest constitution in the world"...they r dead and gone...spending their time in heaven or hell..or wherever a constitution does NOT exist...
first of all, our governance is mostly (not entirely) cheap, goondaistic and totally unprofessional...
and we suck too...
a bill will never get passed in the parliament that demands that only qualified and capable people can contest elections...all we have is scapegoats and king makers...
its a hierarchy of "devatas"...we have param-devetas, upa-devatas etc s(h)itting at different levels of the system that we have allowed nomenclature to define as democracy
ya u r right...we made the mistake of doing it once...the power of decision is in their hands...we do not have the potential to manage ministers now... kinda irreversible process
people suck deep throat...
80% of them r party biased...
very few think radically...
there r lakhs of illiterates and simpletons...
its like u r in love with somebody and u complain with her .so it s same with girls and democracy but it doesnt mean those dont work,does it.
