As in the words of the all great Avinash," It is God and only God who has the power to create life and destroy life".. so wat does God create other than just a body?. He creates a divine quata of energy that controls the body.. When the body becomes weak to hold this energy.. the energy shifts to another body.. this is the basic thing behind the Hinduism's Reincarnation theory..
Humanity was entirely satisfied with this theory for centuries..Then came something called CLONING.. It proves that not just God, now human beings can also create life.. Humans create the small embryo from the DNA of an organism and implants it in the womb of a female of that organism.. All the other processes r same.. so now the fundamental law or the only way by which God created life has a loop hole?.... Now this newly formed organism is entirely same as its DNA donor.. But it has an entirely different personality of its own.. So does it means that it also has something called a soul that only God could create?... or is there really something called the soul or just like in the words of N5, is "life just a consequence of some natural action"? ..

So far, we've cloned animals successfully.. but r we in a stage to assess whether the behavior of a clone is exactly same as its original? can't say so..
we don't have any human clones.. even if a human clone is created, it might behave, think, act, live differently from the original..
As far as the soul is concerned....
a man is always created by two parents, any doubts?? if the dna of an organism is to be made into a clone, then that dna is formed cos of the combination of characteristics of its two parent dna's.. even if a clone is created, THE CLONE AS WELL AS THE ORIGINAL HAVE THE SAME PARENTS.. (same set of DNA)..
the latter is formed by "natural action".. the former by "genetic engineering"..
the SOUL is supposed to enter the body at some time during the gestation.. in both cases.. (both cases require gestation)
beyond this point, i dunno.. cos from here onwards the paths of both clone and original converge.. only a slight deviation in between..
it is believed that Lord Surya is accompanied by two consorts.. Sajna and Chhaaya.. Chhaaya is supposed to be the clone of Sajna, cos Sajna couldn't bear the brilliant radiations of the Sun.. Chhaaya could.. its just a myth.. we 20 year olds r not spiritually matured to derive the meaning behind the myth..
the best explanation we could could get is a moral side..
when u face difficulties, approach the problem and correct ur loopholes.. could be termed as genetic RE-engineering, which is what cloning is.. its the re-engineering of an organism..

In all forms of cloning tested successfully uptil now,the gametes(half set chromosomes) of either sex were procured from a host.. i.e,they were not engineered... these were then hybridised with nuclei of a somatic cell(full set chromosomes).. so i think, God makes himself valid until we get to do otherwise.....
